Event Information:
This year’s Regions Tradition presented by Coca-Cola will again feature the Coca-Cola Ladies Long Drive Contest. The competition will take place at the tournament immediately after official play concludes on Thursday, May 15th (approximately 5pm CDT). The competition will feature 20 amateur participants competing in two age divisions, age 35 and under and age 36 and above. Qualifying will take place at Birmingham's PGA TOUR Superstore.
During qualifying, each participant will get 1-2 minutes of warm up before attempting 5 official shots into one of the store's simulators. A player’s longest individual shot will be recorded. The top 10 participants from the three qualifier days in both age divisions will advance to the official Ladies Long Drive Contest at Greystone during tournament week.
There is no cost to qualifying and all individuals who attempt to qualify will receive two (2) complimentary tickets to the tournament (courtesy of Coca-Cola).
Rules:
• There is no age limit
• Qualifiers can bring their own driver or use a demo from the store
• All golf clubs must conform to USGA specs
• Golf balls from the store will be used
• Individuals can try to qualify one time only
