  • Thank you for your interest in the Bloomberg Arts Internship at Sitar! Here are some quick facts about this program:

    • Available to rising high school seniors only*
    • Program dates are June 23, 2025 - August 9, 2025
    • Interns will work up to 40 hours a week
    • Interns will earn $21/hour
    • Interns will only be permitted to miss three unexcused days of the program
    • Interns and one parent/guardian must attend an Orientation & HR day this spring on either June 3 or June 5

    Completing an application does not guarantee a spot in the program or an interview. If selected to move forward, you will be contacted to schedule an interview.

    The application should be completed by the prospective intern. This application will ask for information that you may have to collect or locate. You will be able to save your progress and continue at a later time.  

    *All applicants must be rising seniors enrolled in a DC Public School or DC Public Charter School. Students enrolled in a DC Private School may apply if they are receiving a needs-based scholarship for tuition and can provide documentation of scholarship.

  • Thank you for your interest in the High School Senior Arts Internship. At this time this internship is only open to those who are currently in the 11th grade and entering their senior year in 2025.   • Internship Availability

    This section will let us know about your availability during the program hours this summer.
  • Internship positions may include in-person or hybrid options dependent on the requirements of each job site. Interns will report to their internships three days a week and will have two days of professional development and/or college prep.  Typical work hours will be between 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. There will be some special events that occur before or after those times.
