    Please confirm that your programme meets the requirements for UCA AETC.

  • This scheme is designed for enhanced training undertaken by certified coaches and coach supervisors commited to their ongoing learning and development. It provides participants with verifiable records of their completed professional development hours, which can contribute to continuing coach or supervisor development requirements for UCA accreditation and other relevant programmes. Eligible submissions must include  training and assessment.

    * These hours count towards CCD hours for renewal of UCA Annual Membership

    ** On occasion, we may request a Professional Conversation if we require more details about the CCD activity

    *** Providers of UCA Accredited Coach Training may include their AETC into their Coach Training Programmes to upgrade their programme level

    Acceptance of the following conditions is required for accreditation of Enhanced Training for Coaches and Coach Supervisors. The declarations represent a legally binding agreement and should only be entered into after considering all applicant guidance carefully. Providing false or misleading information in the application will result in accredited member status being withdrawn and a ban from reapplying for 5 years.

  • 🏁 Professional Conversation

    How to prepare for the final part of the Application Process: your Professional Conversation with a UCA Assessor.

  • On occasion, we may request a Professional Conversation if we require more details about the AETC programme. The process is to have a 20 minute Professional Conversation with a UCA Assessor.

    The purpose of the conversation is to give you the opportunity to:

    • Elaborate on any areas of your application that the Assessors feel need further clarification
    • Share how your participants are supported in their learning and development
    • Describe how your AETC Programme meets the needs of your participants
    • Discuss the relevant experience, knowledge and education of your Programme Tutors

    If a professional conversation is required, you will be contacted within 14 days of submission of your application to arrange your Professional Conversation. These take place during the second week of each month with a panel of Assessors who have been highly trained in assessing  UCA applications.
