The Workshop on Navigating Bias, Addressing Microaggressions, and Building Allyship is a comprehensive training designed for health care and human services professionals committed to fostering inclusive environments and addressing the challenges of bias in health care and human services settings. This interactive, four-hour workshop provides participants with practical tools and strategies to strengthen awareness of and mitigate implicit biases, address microaggressions, and cultivate effective allyship. Through engaging discussions, case studies, and actionable frameworks, attendees will enhance their ability to both address microaggressions and to support both patients and colleagues from marginalized communities. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with the skills to promote respect, empathy, and equity in their professional roles. Additional Registration and Payment Information
Once the minimum number of five (5) persons have registered for this workshop, you will be invoiced for the workshop fee. Payment in full is due one week prior to the workshop start. For example, for the workshop that starts on Feb. 13, 2025, the payment is due by no later than Feb. 6, 2025.

Refund Policy
Unless a class is canceled by CCHCP, the following refund policy will apply:

Up to 2 weeks before class starts: 80%
Up to 1 week before class starts: 50%

However, if you are unable to attend a course that you registered and fully paid for, you can choose to apply that payment to another workshop within a 12-month period of the original start date of the workshop you registered and paid for.

If the class is canceled by CCHCP, you will receive a 100% refund.

CCHCP reserves the right to remove any participant who interferes with or causes disruption in the learning environment. Refunds will not be issued to participants who are removed.
Certificate of Completion
Participants who attend all 5 hours of the course will receive a certificate of completion.
