      All materials must be source separated, clean and free of contamination including, but not limited to, hazardous waste/materials, chemicals, motor oil or pesticides. Materials cannot be bagged; place materials loose in containers.

    • *Acceptable HDPE and LDPE plastic film items: pallet wrap and stretch film, resealable bags, cereal bags, produce bags, bread bags, grocery bags, ice bags, unpadded and padded plastic mailers, product wrap, bubble wrap, case overwrap, air pillows, newspaper bags, dry cleaner bags, agricultural tarps (LDPE) used for silage. Not accepted: PP, PVC, PET and Nylon.

  • Guidelines for Use

    • Register to use the site and agree to the guidelines.
    • If a business/organization arrives at the Business Recycling Drop-Off without a registration form on file, they may use the site once, but must be registered to use it after that.
    • Currently accepted materials are listed on Front Range Transload (FRT)’s website. No other materials will be accepted.
    • All materials must be source separated and placed in the correct container.
    • Assure that materials are clean and free of contamination, including, but not limited to, hazardous waste/materials, chemicals, motor oil or pesticides. Contaminated loads will be rejected.
    • Materials must be put into the designated bin loose at the recycling drop off.
    • No bagged recyclables are allowed.
    • Use of the dropsite is only permitted during business hours.
    • Businesses/Organizations will not pay to use the drop site, nor will they be paid for their material.
    • If materials dropped off are rejected, a business will be given a warning. After a second offense, the business/organization will no longer be allowed to use the recycling drop site.
    • FRT has the right to discontinue access to the drop off if a generator provides unacceptable or contaminated material or if the guidelines are not followed.

    Waiver and Release from Liability

    At no time will Front Range Transload, its agents, employees, or successors be held liable for any damages to property, personal injury or financial loss resulting from the collection and transporting of materials, equipment and waste.
