    Effective January 1, 2005, the City of Newcastle implemented a False Alarm Ordinance (#2004-286). To utilize Newcastle Police and the King County Sheriff’s Office for alarm response within Newcastle, your alarm company must comply with the following ordinance regulations.

    If your company does not currently hold a City of Newcastle Business License, please visit the Washington State Department of Licensing website to apply. A City of Newcastle Business License is required to operate legally within city limits.
