  • What happens next?

    • If AAM staff have any questions during their review of your application for completeness and eligibility, they will contact you once the nomination period closes.
    • Viable candidates will be forwarded to the nominating committee.
    • If you are identified by the nominating committee to advance in the vetting process as a finalist you will be contacted, approximately in March, for an interview.

    In 2025 there are two Commissioner seats to fill. Due to the volume of nominations usually received for limited spots, we cannot update everyone individually on the status of their application. If you are not contacted for an interview, your nomination will be kept in the pool of candidates to be considered in the next appointment cycle.
