ELIGIBILITY (MISS):
I meet the standards put forth on the Miss Yakima County website and the standards put forth in the Miss America Organization Local Contestant Contract. I have reviewed the 2026 schedule and will be able to attend all events.
FEES:
Miss Yakima County entry fee is required when submitting entry form.
1.) Miss are required to register with the Miss America Organization annually, in order to
compete.

There is a $49.99 fee and you will be signing up for competition cycle 27 (c27). This means if you become our state titleholder in 2026, you would compete at the September 2027 Miss America Competition in Orlando, Florida.
NOTE: If you have already registered for the season with another Local program, you still need to register for our competition and will not have to pay the fee again until the next season. 3.) Rebel Athletic Top and Bottom (HERE). The Miss America Organization requires all local contestants to wear a Rebel Athletic fitness outfit for the fitness competition. Not all option shown on the website link above are avaiable to wear for the Miss Yakima County Competition. See the Contestant Handbook for a list of the available options. It is the contestant's responsibility to order her fitness outfit, making sure that it arrives on time and fits properly prior to competition. Contestants are more than welcome to borrow or purchase used items from perivious contestants/titleholders.
4.) Contestants are required to secure a minimum of $400 in program magazine advertisement sales. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with local businesses, friends, and family members to support the Miss Yakima County Scholarship Foundation.
Please note that the $400 advertisement fee is non-refundable if you choose to withdraw from the competition after applying. We encourage contestants to begin reaching out to friends, family, and local businesses early to assist in meeting this requirement. For example, you might secure four sponsors contributing $100 each or eight sponsors contributing $50 each.
Sponsor Recognition and Benefits:
- Local Businesses: Sponsors will receive a full year of logo placement on the Miss Yakima County website, along with on-screen video recognition before the onstage competition and during intermission.
- Friends and Family: Their contributions directly support scholarships and help contestants succeed.
Advertisement Pricing:
- $100 for a half-page ad
- $200 for a full-page ad
The more program magazines sold, the more scholarships we can award. Additional incentives are available for contestants who sell the most advertisements.
