INTRODUCTION
Annette Dotson Pearls of Vision Foundation, Inc. College Scholarship is a one-year merit-based scholarship awarded to current college students residing on the south side of Metropolitan Atlanta (Fulton, Clayton, Fayette, Coweta, and Henry counties).
CRITERIA
Applicant must be a full-time student currently enrolled at an accredited degree-granting institution (Sophomore – Senior) with at least 30 semester hours.
Applicant must upload an official transcript with an official seal stamp.
Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Applicant must submit a 300-350 word essay on one (1) of the following topics:
- Describe how you have demonstrated leadership ability both in and out of school.
- What do you think is the greatest challenge facing your generation? How will you face this challenge and how will you help others face it?
- How do you plan to help others in your community after achieving your educational goals?
Applicant must upload two recommendation letters; one from an academic administrator or faculty member and one of the applicant’s choice (i.e., minister, former teacher, community service supervisor, employer, etc. but all must be adults).
Applicant must demonstrate community service involvement.

The award reception will be in May 2026. Scholarship recipients' attendance at the reception is highly encouraged. If the date changes, applicants will be notified.
*Scholarship awards will be made payable and sent directly to the college or university only and will not be made payable to the recipient. No exceptions.
