JANUARY 18, 2025 GASPARILLA CHILDREN'S PARADE

WRIST BAND ACCEPTANCE, RELEASE AND WAIVER AGREEMENT

By wearing the specifically numbered wrist band listed below, and by participating in the Gasparilla Children’s Parade on January 18, 2025 (“Parade”), I release, waive and discharge Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla, Inc., and its members, owners, employees, officers and directors from any and all liability, claims, damages and injuries of any kind that in any way results from, or is connected with, my participation in the Parade including my arrival and continuing through my departure from that location regardless of how caused.

I agree that this Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.  All disputes arising under, in connection with, or incident to this Agreement shall be litigated, if at all, in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County, Florida.

I am at least 18 years of age and otherwise competent to sign this Agreement.  I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT, I UNDERSTAND IT, AND I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT IT CONSTITUTES A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A WAIVER OF MY LEGAL RIGHTS.  I AGREE TO ASSUME ALL RISKS ARISING OUT OF THE EVENT SO THAT I CAN PARTICIPATE.

Stepps Individual Liability Release Agreement – Krewe of the Nautilus

As a member or guest of the above listed krewe, I understand the krewe float will be pulled by Stepp’s Towing Service Inc. and/or Global Environmental and Industrial Response LLC. for parades that my krewe has signed up to be towed through.

• I further understand that I am to listen and follow instructions given by the krewe safety officers while riding in, being upon, near or around the float at all times.

• Stepp’s Towing Service Inc. and/or Global Environmental and Industrial Response LLC. will not be held liable for any losses, injuries, and/or death that may occur while I participate in the events with my krewe or as a guest of the participating krewe. I personally and voluntarily assume all risks related to each event that I participate in.

• I agree to waive, release and forever discharge Stepp’s Towing Service Inc. and/or Global Environmental and Industrial Response LLC., their owners, officers, employees, ect. from any and all claims, causes of action, demands, or those causes relative to injury, that may arise from my negligence or voluntary misconduct as a result of participating in any of that parades. I voluntarily assume all risk of injury even if caused by the negligence of Stepp’s Towing Service Inc. and/or Global Environmental and Industrial Response LLC. in any form whether in whole or in part.

• I voluntarily assume all risk of injury if caused by my own negligence.

• I agree not to make a claim or sue Stepp’s Towing Service Inc. and/or Global Environmental and Industrial Response LLC., for injury. If I disregard this agreement by filing a claim or lawsuit, I understand that I will pay all costs that Stepp’s Towing Service Inc. and/or Global Environmental and Industrial Response LLC., may bear including attorney’s fees.

• I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stepp’s Towing Service Inc. and/or Global Environmental and Industrial Response LLC. from any and all claims, causes of action, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, judgements, expenses, including attorney’s fees, in which an individual suffers personal injury, bodily injury, property damage, damages, losses and/ or death, and any other personal or financial loss that may arise from my negligence or voluntary misconduct as a result of participating in any of the parades or events.

• I agree that this Liability Release Agreement will apply to any and all parades and may not be revoked, altered, amended, rescinded or voided without prior written consent of Stepp’s Towing Service Inc. and/or Global Environmental and Industrial Response LLC. I understand this agreement is a release of liability and a waiver of my legal rights, and I will assume all risks relative to all parades or events so I may be a participant in such activities. This agreement is in effect October 1, 2023 through October 1, 2024.

• THE UNDERSIGNED HAS READ THE FOREGOING RELEASE AND FULLY UNDERSTANDS THE AGREEMENT
