    You can recycle your large household appliance through these channels:
    • Contact the retailer you bought your new unit from to take back the old unit when delivering the new unit (Retailer 1-for-1 take-back service)
    • Bulky waste disposal service provided by Town Councils

  • DISPOSAL GUIDELINES & DISCLAIMERS

    Before the collection of your E-Waste, please abide by the following guidelines / disclaimers:

    • Ensure that the access path to your premises is free from obstruction and blockage, inclusive of stairways / slopes.

    • For collection from premises above or below the ground floor, ensure that there is a lift available for usage.

    • Disconnect any cables / connections and ensure appliances, fittings or equipment have been switched off.

    • Empty, properly defrost and clean refrigerators and deep freezers as ALBA E-Waste is not responsible for the contents placed inside nor to dispose any food content within.

    • Take all reasonable steps to ensure that nothing that should be removed is left behind and nothing is taken away in error as ALBA E-Waste will not be liable in retrieving any parts after completion of the removal of item.

    • Arrange proper protection for goods left in unoccupied or unattended premises, or where other people such as (but not limited to) tenants or owners are or will be present. In the event where the Requestor is to leave the item unattended, ALBA E-Waste is not liable for the missing item/ any nuisance or incidents upon arrival for collection.

    • Place the item near/ at your doorstep whenever possible as ALBA E-Waste is only responsible for collection and will not be able to help with cleaning, disconnecting and transporting the items to the doorstep.

    • In the event when this is not possible, the Requestor hereby provide the permission for personnel from ALBA E-Waste to enter the premise to remove the Large Household Appliances and acknowledge that ALBA E-Waste is not liable for any loss or damage, costs or additional charges that may arise from failure to discharge these responsibilities, other than by reason of our negligence.

    • Item is deemed to be able to fit through all doorways, lifts and pathway. No dismantling / modification required by ALBA E-Waste is needed prior to the collection.

    HDB Property

    • Item is to be placed near / at your doorstep TWO hours prior to the scheduled collection time.

    • Requester is responsible to ensure the item is not to be obstructing all public access pathway / emergency exit / stairways.

    • Item is to be deemed able to fit into the public lift without any dismantling / modification required. 

    Condominium Property

    • Requester is responsible for any security deposit or miscellaneous cost (if required) as stipulated by the Management Corporation Strata Title (MCST).

    • Requester must ensure all necessary permissions and precautions are taken to prevent property damage during the e-waste collection process, inclusive of lift protection etc.

    • Proper arrangements must be made with the condominium management, including any required permits or approvals for access to common areas.

    Landed Property

    • Requester is to ensure the item is placed near the main gate of the resident prior to the scheduled collection time.

    • In event when this is not possible, Requester is to ensure the Owner or tenant is present for ALBA E-Waste to enter the premise for removal.
