CMYBS Division Change Request Policy

Requests to "play up" must be submitted prior to the start of the season using this designated form. This process applies to all requests for playing in a division above a player's age group.

All players must first register in the division assigned to their age group. The CMYBS Board will review all requests, and their decision is final. As part of this review, we may consult with previous coaches to ensure decisions align with your goals as parents and our responsibilities as league officials.

Please note that division change requests may be denied if they pose a risk to your child’s well-being or negatively impact the league. Requests based on reasons such as boredom, carpooling, work schedules, or loss of interest are not valid grounds for approval. Additionally, "play down" requests will not be considered.

All division change requests must follow this process, and there may be an additional cost if a request to play up is approved. By signing this form, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the policy and agree to pay any difference in fees between divisions if your request is approved.
