FAICP Statement of Interest

• An update-to-date resume and/or curriculum-vitae
• Nomination packets for any previous, unsuccessful FAICP nominations
• A document (maximum 3-pages in length) which provides the following information:
  1. Please briefly (less than one page) summarize how your experience demonstrates that youhave met the following criteria for election to the AICP College of Fellows:
     1. Exceptional and sustained leadership, resulting in a readily definable change to a place,people, or process.
     2. Innovation and excellence creating consensus and support for a planning activity that ledto community improvements.
     3. A legacy for their profession, community and society, such as an impact that has createdor shown potential to provide a benefit to his/her profession, community, and society.Exceptional accomplishments in planning over the extent of their career or an extendedperiod of time.
     4. The significance of the nominee’s role in the work mentioned throughout the nomination.
  2. Please list your top five outstanding career achievements. Each one should be a distinctstatement of no more than two sentences. Each one should be a specific accomplishmentrather than a general planning skill. If selected, your “nomination packet” will be structuredaround these five accomplishments
