Greenwood Pride Volunteer Code of Conduct
As a volunteer of Greenwood Pride, I understand and agree to abide by the following code of conduct:
🏳️🌈Commitment to the Mission: I will actively support and promote the mission and values of Greenwood Pride, which include fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive community for LGBTQ+ individuals.
🏳️🌈Respect for All Individuals: I will treat all individuals with respect, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic.
🏳️🌈Confidentiality: I understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality and will not disclose any confidential information about Greenwood Pride, its members, volunteers, or participants without proper authorization.
🏳️🌈Professionalism: I will conduct myself in a professional manner at all times when representing Greenwood Pride, whether in-person, online, or via any other means of communication.
🏳️🌈Conflict Resolution: In the event of conflicts or disagreements, I will address them in a constructive and respectful manner, seeking resolution through open communication and cooperation.
🏳️🌈Non-Discrimination: I will not engage in any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying towards any individual, including but not limited to volunteers, staff, participants, or members of the community.
🏳️🌈Compliance with Policies and Procedures: I will familiarize myself with and adhere to all Greenwood Pride policies and procedures, including those related to volunteer responsibilities, safety protocols, and event guidelines.
🏳️🌈Safety and Well-being: I will prioritize the safety and well-being of myself and others, taking appropriate precautions to prevent accidents, injuries, or harm during volunteer activities.
🏳️🌈Accountability: I understand that as a volunteer of Greenwood Pride, I am accountable for my actions and will accept responsibility for any mistakes or errors I may make.
🏳️🌈Representation: I will represent Greenwood Pride positively and accurately, refraining from making any statements or engaging in activities that could damage the organization's reputation or integrity.
