    Instructions for Filing Application

    Dear CAF Contributor:

    We are pleased to announce that again this year we will co-host the Annual Industry Banquet with the Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable. At this banquet, the CAF will present contractor and project of the year awards and the Roundtable will present their annual safety awards. Last year, the banquet drew over 700 industry leaders and project owners and we are expecting another great turn out this year. The banquet will be held May 7, 2026 at the Avalon Banquet Center in Merrillville.


    You will soon receive an invitation to the banquet. We hope you will join us. Below, you will find a copy of nomination forms for our annual project of the year awards. Nomination applications must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. March 13, 2026. Projects eligible for nomination must be substantially completed by the award due date.

    The awards will be presented at the Annual Safety Awards Banquet at the Avalon Manor Banquet Center on May 7, 2026.

  • Project of the Year

    This is the official Nomination Form for the 2024-2025 Construction Advancement
    Foundation Awards Program. Completed nominations must be submitted to CAF
    by 4:00 p.m. on March 14th, 2025.

    ELIGIBILITY:

    Nominations may be submitted by any CAF contributor or a project owner. The Project must be substantially completed by the award due date. A project may be nominated by the general contractor, a subcontractor or project owner. OR in the case of a Maintenance/service contract it must have occurred between these dates.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    The following items must be included in your entry:

    • Completed nomination form;
    • A one page summary describing the project, minimum 250 words;
    • A list of all sub-contractors involved in the project;
    • A one page summary of the projects challenges and how they were solved and overcome, minimum 250 words.
