VYOA Grooves Winter 2025 Registration
VYOA Grooves Winter 2025 rehearsals are on the following Mondays from 6:00 - 8:00pm at Elley-Long Music Center:

February 10 and 17 (no rehearsal Monday, Feb. 24)

March 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31

The concert is on Monday, April 7 at 7:30pm at Elley-Long Music Center with a dress rehearsal at 6:00 - 7:15pm.

VYOA Grooves students are allowed one rehearsal absence for the winter semester. An additional absence may result in the student not performing in the concert.

VYOA Grooves is a jazz program intended for students in grades 5 - 8 who have at least 1 year of experience on their instrument. All jazz experience levels are welcome. VYOA Grooves will feature big band and small ensemble "combo" components. Basic improvisation techniques will be taught, but no previous experience with improvising is necessary. This is a program for everyone.
