The Nocturnists Satellites is an opportunity for arts-inclined clinicians and clinician groups to access support from The Nocturnists in producing their own live storytelling shows. By partnering with people and organizations across the country to foster community-based storytelling, we hope to amplify the movement we’ve been building over the last eight years—to support wellbeing and connection through artistic expression.

We’ve found that one of the key elements to successful storytelling events is to pair storytellers with story coaches to prepare for the show. Story coaches work one-on-one with storytellers in the months leading up to the show—serving as a cross between an editor, cheerleader, and performance coach—to help storytellers craft engaging, compelling stories to perform on stage. Satellite partners are responsible for identifying their own story coaches, though we can help with this process. Do you have anyone in mind to work as a story coach for this event? (Perhaps a local person from the world of theater, improv, public speaking, radio, or podcasting?)
