Effective October 1, 2024:
Employees shall have the option of deferring the sum as specified in Article III, Section 3.04, per hour for each hour worked by each employee covered by the terms of this Agreement. The option of deferring the vacation/savings contributions can be made when an employee is dispatched to the employer or within 30 days prior to a scheduled wage change. The option shall commence with the wage change.
If the employee elects to defer the sum as specified in Article III, Section 3.04, the employer shall compute the employee’s hourly rate of pay and then deduct from the wages the vacation/savings contribution.
- To "Opt-In" would mean to defer the vacation/savings contribution sum as specified in Article III, Section 3.04 of $3.00 per hour into an account at Ventura County Credit Union, deposited once a month.
- To "Opt-Out" would mean to have the vacation/savings contribution sum as specified in Article III, Section 3.04 of $3.00 per hour, on your weekly check instead of being deferred to the Ventura County Credit Union.
