    Effective January 1, 2025
  • We know alumni enjoy returning to campus, and we warmly welcome you back. To visit the Louis B. Mayer Library or to reserve space in the Lawrence Herbert Alumni Center (LHAC) you must complete this Alumni Access Form a minimum of 24 hours (at least one business day) in advance. 

    Alumni and their guests who are registred for an event are automatically registred for campus access and they do not need to complete the AFI Alumni Campus Access Form.

    Guest Registration

    Alumni bringing guests must identify each guest on this form. All guest will be the responsibility of the registrant and should be accompanied by the Alumni host throughout their visit. 

    Campus Access

    AFI Campus Security will ask to see a valid government-issued picture identification card for each registered visitor. Visitors under the age of 18 are not required to provide a valid government ID, but they must always be accompanied by a registered adult. Access to campus is not available during AFI campus closures (e.g., holidays, winter recess).

    Reminders

    We ask alumni to be mindful of the following:

    • Alumni must be registered prior to their campus visit and present a government-issued picture identification upon arrival.
    • While on campus, Alumni must abide by the Alumni Code of Conduct and other policies governing conduct on campus. Alumni who do not adhere to AFI policies may be restricted from campus access.
    • Alumni cannot interrupt or disrupt the educational or working environment while on campus.
    • There are no drop-ins to the LHAC.
    • Alumni must remain in the area requested on the Alumni Access Form. Alumni are not allowed to roam around the campus.
    • Alumni are not allowed to extend their time on campus beyond the time requested on the Alumni Access Form.
    • Campus access is limited to three (3) consecutive days.

  • Note: A new submission must be completed for all non-consecutive repeat bookings. For example, if you desire to book every Tuesday from 5pm - 8pm for a table read, you must submit a new form for each date.

  • Lawrence Herbert Alumni Center Space Reservation Guidelines

    The Lawrence Herbert Alumni Center (LHAC) staff hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm. The LHAC multipurpose and conference rooms are available to reserve as follows:

    • Conference Room | Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 6:00pm
    • Multipurpose Room | Sunday - Saturday | 8:00am - 10:00pm

    Available Equipment

    The equipment is each space is limited. The Conference room has two (2) monitors and Multipurpose room has one (1) rolling monitor upon availability. No technical support is provided. 

    Space Utilization

    The Conference room has a one (1) long board room table with approximately 12 wheeled chairs. This furniture is not movable. The Multipurpose room includes movable tables, chairs, and a couch and the furniture can be moved around to accommodate needs. 

    Food is allowed. All registrants are responsible for cleaning up after themselves at the risk of forfeiting their privileges otherwise. 

    No makeup allowed. 

    No production filmin is allowed in any LHAC space. Recording auditions, basic camera testing, Zoom/virtual meetings are exceptions.
