VISA Requirements:
US Citizens: US citizens visiting parts of Europe may need to complete the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS). This is a “pre-travel screening for security and migration risks of travelers benefiting from visa-free access to the Schengen area.”

The Schengen Area is a zone of 26 European countries that do not have internal borders and allow people to move between them freely, including countries such as Spain, France, Greece, Germany, Italy, and Poland.

Visa-free travelers, including US citizens, will need to request ETIAS authorization before visiting the Schengen Area. You can complete an application and pay a service fee of 7 euros (about $8) online. The authorization will be valid for three years.

NON-US Citizens: Please contact the Embassy of the country that issued your passport for visa and/or ETIAS requirements & assistance.

The ETIAS is not currently in place, but scheduled to be in place sometime in 2025. You will be notified when/if the ETIAS becomes required for US citizens traveling to the EU.

If you want to purchase a plan with Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) coverage, then you must purchase an individual plan within 21 days of your deposit to qualify. It is the travelers responsibility to purchase travel insurance as travel protection is never automatically added to any reservation.

MOBILITY CLAUSE: A reasonable degree of mobility is required. Passengers may be required to ascend and descend flights of 12 or more stairs to board or exit the ship.

Persons with a walking disability, an injury, or who require a wheelchair/scooter or another mobility device, must have another dedicated person traveling with them to assist with their needs.

European Travel Information & Authorization System (ETIAS): I understand that I will be responsible for securing my travel authorization prior to departing the US. Starting sometime in 2025, US citizens will be required to obtain ETIAS documentation for entering most countries in Europe. You will be notified when this goes into effect.

European Entry/Exit System (EES): The EES will register non-EU nationals each time they are visiting European countries. It will apply to those travelling for a short stay (a duration of up to 90 days within a 180 day period) on holidays or business trips. In most cases, the EES checks will take place in Europe – when you arrive at your destination airport or port, and when you leave at the end of your trip.

Travelers will have their fingerprints and photograph taken at a special kiosk and then have their passport processed. The system will then check the data against EU security databases.
