Submitting this form is an application only and does not create a volunteer agreement or guarantee placement. Applicants must be 18 years or older. All roles at Tacoma Photo Center are volunteer positions and do not constitute employment, paid work, benefits, or other compensation. Volunteers may work in shared spaces that include photographic chemicals, low-light environments, and communal equipment. Training will be provided and all volunteers are expected to follow established safety procedures and community guidelines. Volunteers are expected to notify us as early as possible if they are unable to attend a scheduled shift or complete a committed task. Volunteers may have access to personal, financial, creative, or other customer materials and are expected to respect privacy and confidentiality at all times. Tacoma Photo Center strives to be an inclusive and accessible community space and expects all volunteers to treat others with respect. The center reserves the right to place volunteers where they are most needed and to decline, pause, or discontinue volunteer involvement if it is not a good fit for the volunteer, the community, or for safety reasons. Certain volunteer roles may require additional review based on access level or responsibilities. Tacoma Photo Center reserves the right to limit volunteer roles or access as needed to ensure the safety of the space and community.
