Short Answer
Please answer the following questions.
What attracts you to making a pilgrimage around the Diocese of New Ulm? What do you hope to gain by making the pilgrimage?
*
Have you ever participated in anything similar in the past that you can share more about? (ie. Any other pilgrimages, Bible studies you’ve been apart of, mission trips, conferences, etc.)
What is your daily prayer and sacramental life like? How do you desire to grow closer to the Lord? How do you participate in your parish and the life of the Church?
What gifts or positive qualities do you bring to a team?
*
This pilgrimage is an exciting opportunity for personal renewal, and pilgrims are encouraged to bring their personal desires and intentions to the Lord as they intercede for the Diocese of New Ulm. With that being said, it will also require extensive walking (up to 25 miles a day) in potential hot or rainy weather. You must also be available for all 8 days of walking (June 22-29) and potentially a day before and after. You will spend much time with other young adults, stay at host homes, and interact with many people throughout the Diocese of New Ulm along the pilgrimage route. How would you describe your ability to do this? Do you have any concerns or conflicts that we should be aware of?
