Class Info
We are pleased to offer 60-minute theatre arts classes for students in grades 1-5, held once a month on Monday evenings from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Magik Theatre.
Designed to foster skill development while meeting students where they are, classes are engaging, fun, and educational.
Each 60-min class is $35.
Stage Comedy with Dragons Love Tacos
Monday, January 27th from 6-7pm
Laughs are guaranteed in this class! Students will step into the spotlight to perform scenes from the stage adaptation of Dragons Love Tacos. They’ll practice comedic timing and reactions while building confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
Act it Out with Elephant & Piggie
Monday, February 24th from 6-7pm
Get ready for a fun-filled acting class inspired by our mainstage production of Elephant & Piggie’s “We Are in a Play!” In this class, students will dive into the world of acting through exciting games, improvisation, and simple scenes. Designed to spark creativity and build confidence, this class introduces young performers to the basics of acting in a playful and supportive environment.
Once Upon a Time: Creative Storytelling
Monday, March 24th from 6-7pm
Let your child’s imagination soar! In this engaging class, students will explore the art of storytelling by learning how to craft a great story with a beginning, middle, and end. Through fun group activities and creative imagination exercises, they'll develop foundational storytelling skills and work together to create their own short scenes. Perfect for budding storytellers!
Move It, Groove It: Dance & Movement
Monday, April 21st from 6-7pm
Students will jump, spin, and express themselves in a fun and energetic dance and movement class! This class introduces basic moves and rhythms in a friendly, encouraging atmosphere. Through games, creative exercises, and easy-to-follow steps, students will discover the joy of dancing!
A Design Adventure with Lotería
Monday, May 26th from 6-7pm
Inspired by our mainstage production of Loteria: Game On! In fun and engaging class, students will learn how to build imaginative settings for characters to explore. They’ll learn about different elements of set, prop, and costume design. Using their creativity and teamwork, they'll discover how the setting makes a story come alive.
