  • Leadesrhip Interests & Important Information:

For more information on the details and requirements of the leadership options below, go to hc.edu/leadership.

  • Students are encouraged to apply for ALL interested leadership positions. However, if a student decides to accept a student leadership position, below is the breakdown of the selection process:

    • Category A - only one position within this category can be accepted due to time and responsibility commitments.
    • Category B - only one position within this category can be accepted due to time commitment and overlapping in responsibilities.
    • Category C - selection of three positions may be made in this category. The student will be highly encouraged not to accept more than three leadership positions total per supervisor approval (all three selected positions can be category "C").

This process will ensure the potential for more leadership opportunities to be available for HCU students. We hope to see an increase of leadership development with students in all areas; a decrease of student "over-involvement" and burn out; and an overall use of better stewardship within the leadership opportunities we offer.
