Lil’ Bit of Life 1st Annual Chili Cook-Off & Open Farm Day

Join us for an afternoon of delicious chili, family fun, and farm adventures at Lil’ Bit of Life’s 1st Annual All-You-Can-Eat Chili Cook-Off and People’s Choice Contest! This is your chance to sample mouthwatering chili recipes, explore the farm, and make lasting memories.

• Adult Tickets: $15
• Youth Tickets (Ages 4-10): $10 (3 and under FREE)
What’s Included in Admission?
Your ticket includes access to a full lineup of activities:
• Enjoy unlimited chili tastings and vote for your favorite!
• Farm Tours & Animal Meet-and-Greets: Meet our mini horses, Highland cow Archie, and other farm favorites.
• Hayride: Take a scenic ride around the farm.
• Photo Opportunities: Capture moments at our festive photo zones.
• Bonfire: Cozy up by the fire to end the day.
• Optional Pony Rides: Available for purchase during the event.
Additional food, beverages, and farm merchandise will be available for purchase.
Chili Cook-Off Rules
Think you’ve got what it takes to win? Here’s what you need to know:
• Registration Fee: $20. All proceeds go to support GRITS 4-H Club projects.
• Ingredients: Chili must be homemade (no store-bought or packaged chili).
• Allergy Information: List all ingredients on a card to display by your chili.
• Serving Requirements: Bring at least 6 quarts (1.5 gallons) of chili and a serving spoon.
• Setup Time: Chili must be at the farm by 2:00 PM for setup and warming.
• Entrants Limit: Maximum of 15 participants.
• We Provide: Tables, elecricity, condiments, toppings, cups, spoons, and napkins.
Judging & Prizes
• Each attendee will receive one token to vote for their favorite chili.
• Prizes: Gift baskets will be awarded to the top 3 winners, announced at 5:30 PM.
• Categories include People’s Choice based on token votes.
Bonus for Entrants: Each chili entrant receives two free admission tickets!
To Register as a Chili Competitor
To register as a chili competitor, please complete the form below and submit a $20 registration fee to secure your spot. Registrations must be submitted no later than Friday, January 17th. If applicable, email your company logo to tracey@lilbitoflife.com after completing your submission. Be sure to review all competitor rules listed above before entering. Your registration includes two admission tickets. Additional team tickets can be purchased below or at the gate on the event day.

Upon your arrival:
We kindly request you to review the parking map provided below for your reference. As you approach the farm, we ask that you drive with caution, maintaining a slow pace down our driveway. After passing our house on the left, continue through the rear gate to locate a convenient parking spot. Follow the trail with blue arrows, guiding you through our goat area and leading you up to the check-in point.
