The Local Market accepts applications for new stall holders weekly. Applications must fit into one of The Local Market categories and be completed in full to be considered.

Acceptance to The Local Market is via a competitive process. Please ensure your provide as much detailed information as possible. We'll closely review your website and social media accounts for images, with high quality and well-styled images favoured. The Local Market reserves the right to decline any application based on suitability or otherwise.

Applications successfully submitted will receive immediate confirmation shown on this page. If you receive an error message, please resubmit your application. All applications will be responded to within 14 days.

The Local Market accepts applications for food and/or beverage stalls only when a relevant local council mobile food license and public liability insurance is provided by the stall holder (specific terms and rates apply).

All stalls must adhere to our waste management policy. For food stalls, this includes ensuring all food packaging/serving items are biodegradable and that commercial waste is sorted, separated and disposed of off-site. The Local Market is a plastic-free event and working towards being zero-waste.

The Local Market requires all stallsholders to have a marquee to protect them from the weather elements. For more information, please head over to the websites "Stall Holder General Terms and Conditions". 

PAYMENT - Once your booking is confirmed by management, you will recieve an email with bank details. Once paid & cleared you will then recieve confirmation of booking.

All the documentation you need for the bump in & out. Including terms and conditions and map of site will be sent one week prior to market date.

This year, we have decided to give you all a Jan break to rest, recharge and get ready for a fabulous year of market dates and special one off events.

*We want to make sure that it is fair for every stall that has been alocated a category to prevent over saturation within the market 

 

PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE

The Local Market requires all stalls to have public liability insurance (specifically Market Stall/Trade Exhibitor) to the value of $10M. The certificate must be obtain prior to booking.

All prepackaged food, beauty products, essential oils and food and beverage stalls must have product and public liability insurance.

PLI Expiry Date (PDF copy required upon acceptance) You can provide this at the payment of booking also.
