    Would you like your show to appear on our website prior to the tickets going on sale? Your event will appear on our what’s on page with a message advising when tickets go on sale. The buy tickets option will go live at your pre-determined time.

  • To put your show on sale, we require landscape and portrait high resolution images 1900 pixels and above. Images should have no text within them as our website will overlay the show text, allowing better trawling from search engines.

  • Ticketing fees can be found on our fees and charges document at the following link: https://www.bmec.com.au/venue-hire/

    Our standard inside charge is 10% (or a minimum of $2) of the ticket cost plus a 1.5% card payment fee for tickets purchased by card.

    For example, a $50 ticket paid for by cash would attract a $5 inside charge to the hirer giving a net ticket income of $45

    If that $50 ticket was paid for by card, the 1.5% card fee would be $0.75c.

    Deducting this would give you a net of $44.25.

    We would love it if you gave a member price to our membership base.We show the love by giving you extra social media posts, as well as inclusion into our member EDM.

  • Family Pricing

  • When we set up a family offer, we divide the price by 4 and each ticket is sold at that amount.

    For instance, a family of 4 offer for $100 will be sold as 4 x $25 tickets.

    We can restrict this so no more or less than 4 tickets can be sold, but we can also set this up to allow further family tickets to be purchased at the individual ticket rate.

  • BMEC Policy on companion card, family and child tickets

    * For inclusivity, we determine a family as a group who include at least one child under 18 years old.

    * Children aged 0-18 months at the time of a performance may be seated on an adult’s lap free of charge.

    * All children over 18 months of age must hold a valid ticket and will be allocated a seat. 

    * As an inclusive venue, BMEC requires all hirers to provide tickets to companion card holders at no charge. There is no inside charge passed on to hirers for companion card tickets issued.

  • Complimentary / Promoter Holds

  • BMEC automatically holds 10 tickets per performance as promoter holds.

    More can be held at the hirers request.

    The seats will be released 24 hours before a performance, or in the case of a weekend performance, the deadline will be by midday the Friday before.

    To finalise any holds, please provide names and number of tickets required prior to the deadline to bmec.boxoffice@bathurst.nsw.gov.au  Seats can be released prior if requested in writing by the hirer.

  • At the end of the booking, a breakdown will be sent to the hirer outlining the fees and charges for the hire, as well as showing any settlement funds owing to the hirer within 14 days of the show/event.

    To pay any money owed to the hirer, we will request a signed letter with a header from your company, or an invoice confirming the settlement amount and the bank details to pay this settlement to.
