🎄 ASA Now Trauma Mama 10th Annual Christmas Party 🎄

Join us for a special “Favorite Things” Christmas Party gift exchange!

💫Catered Dinner Will Be Provided 💫

Here’s the idea: take the pressure OFF. If you love something, chances are your friends will love it too! Think about something you use all the time or absolutely adore—that’s your “favorite thing” gift! Wrap it up and bring it to the party. Remember, your gift is for another Trauma Mama, not her children or significant other.

This party is to celebrate her and all that she does!

Gift Exchange Guidelines:
- Bring a wrapped gift (or set of items) that totals $20 in value.
- Gifts should be new (no used items, please).
- Please avoid re-gifting something you received but didn’t like.
Your gift could be anything you truly love—your favorite lipstick, a cozy blanket, a special tea, mascara you swear by, kitchen gadgets, or even a beautiful serving bowl. This is about sharing your enthusiasm for items that bring you joy that you want to share with other mamas!

To ensure a positive experience for everyone:

Gifts should be thoughtful and considerate of other moms’ wants and true needs.

How It Works:
1. When you arrive, place your wrapped gift on the display table.
2. Write your name on two slips of paper:
- One for the order of the gift exchange (drawing order).
- One for whose gift you’ll go home with.
3. When your name is called, take your gift to the mom whose name you received.
4. After she opens it, share a little about why it’s your favorite!

💡 No swapping or stealing—this is a feel-good event!

What Else to Bring:

Please bring your favorite appetizer or dessert to share!

Who can attend

This event is open to Kinship Caregivers, Licensed Foster Caregivers, Foster/Adoptive Caregivers, and Guardianship Caregivers for children who have been or are under the custody of the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS).

It Takes a Village

ASA Now was started by three foster/adoptive moms who saw firsthand how hard caregivers work around the clock. Our mission is to walk alongside you 24/7 so you don’t have to do this alone.

We are located on University between Sossaman Rd. and 80th St. on the north side of the street. The parking lot entrance is immediately east of the fire station, and our building is set back from the road.

If you’d prefer not to participate in the gift exchange, no problem—you’re still welcome to join the fun!

We understand that life happens—kids get sick, schedules change, and emergencies come up. If you’re unable to attend the event, please let us know that you will be unable to make it. Please call or text 623-428-1592 before the event and give as much notice as possible. Be sure to leave a voicemail or text if we don’t answer.
