Welcome to the Black Joy Parade application! The parade is on Sunday, February 23, 2025.

This is an application for participation in The Black Joy Parade procession and is designed to provide the Parade Team with information about your group’s proposed involvement in the parade. All applications will be reviewed by our Parade Team before being accepted. Once accepted into the parade, the parade team send you a formal invitation to participate via email. This is NOT an application to become a vendor, stage performer or volunteer at The Black Joy Parade. I understand that groups and organizations that wish to also table in the Black Joy Parade festival area must register separately from this form.

To support parade day operations and bring spotlight to parade marchers, a fee is required to participate in the parade.

The parade fee is due upon acceptance into the parade. Payment information will be requested at the end of this form, and your formal invitation to participate in the parade will only be sent after payment is complete.

The Black Joy Parade 'Best in Flow' competition rewards local individuals, groups, and organizations for bringing the most joy to the streets DURING the Parade. Each winner receives a 'Best in Flow' certificate and $2,500 so they can continue to spread joy in the community.
