THE ROLE
We are seeking a Key Account Manager who will drive sales within JD Sports. The KAM will be responsible for daily account management and driving profitable sales growth.
A personal interest in health & fitness, travel, outside activities, coffee, food, and sustainable solutions is a plus. This role requires you to be strategic, truly consumer-oriented, brand-driven, open-minded and to have a process-driven hands-on spirit.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executing the strategy and roadmap set by the National Sales Director to grow the business within JD sports
- Achieving sales goals, margin targets, and sell through for the account across the category
- Working closely with the Commercial Team and Strategic Director to develop a strategy for the account.
- Identifying opportunities to improve brand presence, elevate consumer experience, expand assortment, and drive sell through in stores and online
- Partner with Sales Director to explore and identify new opportunities within channel
- Partner with Commercial team to provide feedback on trends and opportunities within the category and channel
- Ensuring accurate and timely forecasting for accounts, and drive collaboration with Demand and Supply Planning teams
- Delivering results while building cross functional relationships and being a great teammate
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Consumer Experience teams to elevate Stanley brand presence and activations in accounts
- Manage and monitor complex order book to ensure timely delivery of inventory

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- • Minimum 5 years relevant sales experience working within Consumer Goods sales
- Direct sales experience within the Sporting Goods or Fashion industry, and experience working with UK key accounts and JD sports in particular required.
- Strong operational and process experience
- Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on that data
- Excellent negotiator and relationship builder
- Excellent communicator and listener
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to present data in an organized manner
