• Ford-Iroquois Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarship Application

    The attached application is for the Ford-Iroquois Farm Bureau Foundation General Scholarship and the Skog Family Trust Memorial Scholarship. General scholarships will be offered along with one renewable Skog Family Trust Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship, upon proper documentation, may be renewed for an additional three years.

    To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must:

    • Be a High School Senior graduating in 2026
    • Exhibit potential for successful completion of course of study
    • Be a resident of Illinois
    • Plan to enrolled in an agricultural-related field of study (examples: Ag Business, Ag Communication, AgEngineering, Ag Finance, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Farm Management, etc.) or be enrolled in afield of study that is directly beneficial to agriculture (examples: welding, diesel tech, forestry, etc.). Otherfields of study will also be considered if the applicant’s post-graduate career goals involve agriculture.
    • Submit completed application and official High School transcript

    Preference will be given to applicants who are a member, spouse or child of a member of the Ford-Iroquois FarmBureau. Applicants or their guardians can become a member at the time of the application deadline of April 1,2026. However, Farm Bureau membership is not an absolute requirement to qualify for this scholarship.

    The guidelines for awarding the scholarships are:

    • Career objectives
    • Field of study
    • Academic performance
    • Interest in agriculture and agribusiness
    • Leadership

    Applications and official High School transcripts must be received at the Ford-Iroquois Farm Bureau Foundation Office by April 1, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
