Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Your efforts will directly contribute to providing an exceptional experience for our guests by ensuring their environment is comfortable, hygienic, and inviting. Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities to ensure guest satisfaction
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and perform floor care to maintain a pristine environment
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products in guest rooms and public spaces
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely resolution
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain cleanliness of storage closets and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or required
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment
- Strong understanding of hotel cleanliness standards and hospitality practices
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively
- Familiarity with custodial procedures and housekeeping management principles
