  • AFP of the Bluegrass seeks to increase inclusion, diversity, equity and access in our membership roster, and so we invite professional colleagues who self-identify as, and represent, one or more IDEA constituencies to apply for an opportunity to join our chapter at no cost to them or their organization.  When these scholarships are awarded, AFP Bluegrass will reimburse the individual or organization after the AFP membership has been processed.

  • To be considered for this scholarship:

    • You must be a member of AFP Bluegrass
    • You must be employed as a full-time fundraising professional or spend at least fifty percent of your time fundraising for your employer
    • You must agree to abide by the AFP Code of Ethics & promote the Donor Bill of Rights
    • You must represent one or more IDEA constituencnies to apply for this scholarship
    • AFP's diverse communities include African American/Black, Asian, People with Disabilities, Faith-based, LGBTQ, Hispanic, Jewis, Rural, or another underrepresented community
    • You must agree to commit to a year of participation with one of our chapter committees:  Membership, Scholarship, National Philanthropy Day, or IDEA
