  • Appropriateness Assessment

  • Introduction
You are looking to access marketing content in relation to a Non Mass Market Investment (NMMI) product. The CB Fund is categorized as NMMPI’s as they are unregulated collective investment schemes (UCIS). UCIS are investment schemes that pool money from several investors to invest in various assets. Unlike regulated schemes, UCIS operate without direct FCA oversight. This lack of regulation means that these schemes can be riskier. Before we can present marketing content in relation to the CB Fund to you, the rules of our regulator (the FCA) mean we must assess whether the investment is appropriate for you.

    What is the appropriateness test?
The appropriateness test is needed when you have not been given advice by a professional Financial Adviser about the risks and merits of investing in a complex financial instrument such as an NMMPI. It is designed to check whether your knowledge and experience is such that you are likely to be able to understand the features of the product, the terms and risks involved in the investment, and therefore whether it is appropriate for you.

Please answer all the relevant questions or we will not be able to assess you.

This section comprises 7 questions assessing your knowledge and 4 questions evaluating your experience. It is estimated to take no more than 5 minutes to complete.

  • Risk Warning
