This upgrade will take about 10 minutes per screen. Once you have done the first it will be a little quicker for the next.
Before installation
Please take a take photo of the screen you are going to enroll (see example below) using the "Take Photo" button in this enrollment form.

Look for the purple brightsign box on the backside of the TVs / screens. It can be above the ceiling tiles

Check the purple Brightsign media player has a working internet connection. If the network port does not have a blinking light, it’s more than likely the internet is not working. This intallation will not work without a working internet connection.

Identify the USB port location on the purple Brightsign player. There will be a few older Brightsign players that don't have an USB only a SD card. In most cases the existing SD card can be reformated and used to install our software.

https://install.visualart.se
Option 1 - Installation directly on SD-Card
> Unzip all files/folders in this zipfile to a clean micro SD-card
> Put the Micro-SD card into the BrightSign player and boot it up. It will do several reboots and after around 5 minutes will the SP3 pairing screen/secret be shown.
Opton 2 - Installation through inserted USB (USB-C) to SD-Card
> Put the 2 autorun.* files in this zipfile in the root of a USB
> Insert the USB into the BrightSign USB-C slot and reboot it. During the reboot there will be a message that the installation has been copied and a message to remove the USB for the player to continue with the installation (as in option 1 above).
All previos content on the micro-SD will be erased. The Players LS425, LS424 and LS423 all have an USB-C connector. (The USB-disk can be reused in multiple installations)
USB->Serial devices are supported for RS232 communication using adapters with chipset based on FTDI, pl2303, cp210x
Note that the screen will likely power down and power up again several times during the install process, taking roughly 5 minutes for the process.
During the reboot there will be a message that the installation has been copied and a message to remove the USB for the player to continue with the installation.
Once the installation is completed the screen is red with a white box in the upper left corner.

After installation
Please take a take photo of the white box in the upper left corner of the screen using the "Take Photo" button in this enrollment form. Please wait for the white box to show the secret code before taking the picture (see example above).
Important - We only need a picture of the content in the white box not a picture of the whole screen from distance. Make sure you we/can read all information in the whitebox. Similar to the example above.
Fill in the six digit secret code in the form.
Submit the form.
Done - Move to the next screen and repeat the procedure.
Visualart support team will enroll/pair the screen to the new CMS within the next 24hours. The screen will then automatically start playing the correct content.
