• Redcliffe's Spirit Team Sign Up Form 26/27 School Year

The Aiken/Jackson community provides many opportunities for the local students to prosper. The Redcliffe's Spirit Team "The Bear Cubs" was created to help guide our scholars as they participate in these opportunities and promote useful skills that enable them to become productive and innovative community members. The team promotes leadership, compassion, and respect to build Redcliffe’s unity. The parents of the Spirit Team provide transportation home from weekly meetings (Tuesdays; 4th Tuesday of every month we are in school, will be dedicated to volunteering in the community; this will be by sign ups only) and volunteer for snacks. Parents also provide the transportation and parental/guidance support for ALL events team members participate in off school campus. Parents will be added to the Bear Cubs page in the Rooms app to receive ALL information pertaining to the spirit team. This is the ONLY way of communication for Bear Cubs. Once on the team, it is important to check that page for all information pertaining to the team and events. If you are interested in having your child take part on The Bear Cubs Spirit Team, please fill out this form. SIGN UPS CLOSE Thursday, July 30th at midnight. Surveys are sometimes sent to teachers of the names I received, asking who consistently show what it means to be a Bear Cub—kindness, responsibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude in the classroom. Teachers may also consider students who are making good academic progress and highly recommended to look at who does not have ongoing behavior concerns. This process helps us choose students who will proudly and positively represent our school. Depending on how many spots are open, those with the most votes are added to the team. Letters to new members on the team with contracts will be sent home by the first week of August. Our first practice is scheduled Tuesday, August 18th. If you have any questions or concerns about this program, please contact: Courtney Robinson at crobinson3@acpsd.net
