Presenter Information

The NYSCF Conference is open to scientists working in stem cell and translational research fields. This is a great opportunity to showcase your research to an international audience of leading scientists and clinicians. Selected abstracts will be featured at the poster session or as a short talk at the two-day conference in New York City.

Please use the form and downloadable abstract template to submit abstracts no later than February 7, 2025 at 5:00 pm Eastern Time. Acceptance of the terms of the Abstract Submission Agreement is required of all those who submit an abstract for consideration for presentation at the NYSCF Conference. You must register for the conference in order to present an abstract.

NYSCF's Program Committee will review all submitted abstracts and selected presenters will be notified via email.

Additional important information and guidelines:

• All abstract presenters are required to register for the conference.
• All selected abstracts will be presented by the specified presenter.
• Submitted abstracts cannot be withdrawn.
• There will be absolutely no filming or photography inside the poster session display area. No exceptions will be made.
• All abstracts will be printed in the abstract book and be made available for all conference registrants.
• Submission of an abstract constitutes a formal agreement and statement by the authors that they have conducted the reported research in accordance with applicable institutional and national guidelines and regulations regarding experiments on human subjects, live vertebrates or higher invertebrates and ISSCR policies on Guidelines for Stem Cell Research and Clinical Translation.
• NYSCF's Program Committee tries to ensure that NYSCF poster sessions are not used as venues for commercial promotion. Statements like "We show that X product works better than Y product" are clear indicators of promotion, and will be cause for rejection. In contrast, an abstract that presents methods or findings of interest to stem cell researchers, but mentions that the work was done with a proprietary and copyrighted product, and co-authors include those at the company that made the product, may be deemed acceptable.

For an abstract to be considered, presenters must also be willing to provide, if requested:

• A declaration of whether the poster involves human subjects research, and, if it does, applicable approvals for review by NYSCF's Program Committee
• A letter from your institution confirming your position, appointment, and affiliation
• A letter that provides written assurance that all research presented is being conducted in accordance with local and national regulatory laws and ethical standards. This letter must be signed by both you and an official institutional signatory.
