Theme Information:
OK people, it’s time to get your CUTE on!! What is cute? You tell us! We want to see your idea of cute in 2D, 3D, photography, sculpture, painting, drawing etc. I know some people who think bugs are cute. Babies can be cute. Anime, stuffed toys, pink, puppies, bunnies, sparkles, unicorns, fuzzy things etc. are all fair game. Cute cute cute. We want so much kitschy cutie pie-ness we might just make ourselves sick but this is where we are going for this show. Cute yourselves into a wild frenzy and apply! We want to be happy, weird and adorable.

Exhibition Dates: Apr 5 - May 10, 2024
Opening Reception: Sat, Apr 5, 4-7pm
Artists will hear back by Sun, Mar 9
Drop off accepted work - Thurs, Mar 27, 11-5pm
Pick up - Sun, May 12, 11-5pm
No size limitation but NOTE if it’s a heavy or a difficult piece to install, we will ask you to install it in the gallery. We have a loading dock and certain walls that can take heavier work and are able to help but can’t do the heavy lifting.
All 2D work must be ready to hang. No push pin pieces accepted. For 3D work, we have a few pedestals but if you have one that fits your piece the way you want it to then please include that in your proposal.
No restriction on frame style. You can go as over the top as you like with that. **We do not pay for frames. We do not accept shipped work so please be prepared to bring your work here if accepted.
Sales are a 40/60 split with the gallery. Artists take 60%. Please price your work with that in mind.
Applicants must:
• Be able to bring the work to the gallery
• Open to all 2D and 3D
• You may submit 1 piece, can submit up to 3 pieces
• If you submit a second or third piece please double check that you have filled out all of the correct information because only the first piece is required
• If you are entering a diptych or triptych, that must be counted as one piece and the image submitted must reflect that. Do not send detailed images of your work. We want to see the entire piece including the frame, where applicable.
• Ready to display (ie. must have wire, hangers etc. attached to the piece)
• All work must be signed, clean, no wet paint, no push pins, no broken frames
• Any piece without proper hanging materials will be rejected.
• All works must be labeled on the back
• All visual art files have to be formatted as a .jpg or .png
• All works must be for sale
• The gallery does not pay for framing so please price your work accordingly.
• We do NOT accept cryptocurrency for sales.
• No size requirements
• If the work is particularly heavy or an unusual hang you must be prepared to hang the work yourself and deinstall it when the show comes down. Please indicate this in the NOTE.
• IF you bring in work that has multiple display options (standing or hanging on the same frame for instance) you must indicate in the NOTE how you want your work displayed. If you do not, it will be up to the discretion of the curator to display the work as they see fit.
• ***All submissions must be made through our JotForm.***
• We will not be receiving submissions through email or in person.
• No late submissions will be received after the deadline date.

• All works accepted to the show must be delivered in person and picked up by the designated date if your piece(s) are not sold.
• The work must arrive in the gallery wrapped in protective packaging with your name and title on the outside of the package. DO NOT BRING IN WORK UNWRAPPED.
• WE WILL NOT ACCEPT WORK EARLY OR LATE. If you cannot drop off/pick up your work in this time frame then please make arrangements for someone else to drop off/pick up your work.
• Gallery/Artist 40/60 split sales (not including taxes)
