Photo Session Contract & Release

This agreement is between and hereinafter referred to as the "Model", and Katherine K. Cagle hereinafter referred to as the "Photographer(s)".

Services Agreed Upon
Up to 90 minutes of photography with Kate Cagle. 

Entire Agreement
This Agreement contains the full understanding between the Clients and the Photographer.

Confirmation
A signed "Family Session Contract and Release" and payment of the booking fee is necessary to confirm the stated services from the Photographer.

The Schedule
Our shooting schedule, style of working, and experience are designed to achieve a great set of photos for the Clients, accomplished with good humor and enjoyed by all concerned. Both the Clients and the Photographers, therefore, agree that punctuality and cheerful cooperation are essential to producing outstanding photographic results. In cases where the wedding does not run on time (for example, extreme lateness by one of the Clients arriving at the set location, we cannot guarantee to take our typical set of photos although in such circumstances we will do our absolute best to compensate.

Copyright Law
Katherine K. Cagle Photography retains the copyrights to all images created during the photo session. The client has permission to print digital files for personal use only. Digital files may not be used in commercial or business applications or entered in any contests without written permission from Katherine K. Cagle Photography. Please do not edit digital images or apply filters or presets from any program or social media site.

Photographers Style 
By signing, you state that you have viewed the Photographer's online portfolio and are aware of the Photographer's artistic style. You are aware that the Photographer is the artistic director of the shoot. The Photographer will not recreate images from online social media sites.

Social Media Sharing
Do not add filters to your images. Should additional edits be needed, please reach out to the Photographer to assist you. When you share if you could please tag Katherine K. Cagle Photography, it is greatly appreciated! 

Limit of Liability
If a photographer is too ill or becomes injured and cannot supply the services specified above, the Photographer will try to book a replacement photographer. If both photographers are unavailable and a replacement photographer cannot be found, then liability is limited to a refund of any payments received. 

The Photographer (s) have working methods in place to prevent loss or damage to your images. However, there is the unlikely possibility that images may be lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons in or beyond our control. In these circumstances, liability is limited to the return of fees paid for the service or part thereof according to the percentage of images supplied.

Session Fee + Retainer
The payment schedule is as follows: $350 retainer fee paid at the time of booking. This fee does not include prints or digitals. The submission of your retainer fee and the contract will reserve your photo session date. The retainer fee is not refundable but may be used towards another session due to sickness or a family emergency. 

Turn Around Time
Turn around time often varies. The full gallery will be shop-able 14-21 days after the photo session occurs.

We have understood the contents of this contract and agree to the terms therein.
