  • This holiday season, the Medic Now Foundation Inc. (MNF) and Plymouth Area Veterans Center (VOAMASS) are proud to host Holiday Care & Comfort for Heroes to bring care and nourishment to those in need.

    What We’re Offering:

    🎁 500 FREE Christmas Dinners prepared by Salt of the Earth Catering:

    Attendees will enjoy individually packaged, chef-prepared holiday meals that are fully cooked and ready to take home and heat. These meals, crafted with care by Salt of the Earth Catering, offer a delicious and convenient way to celebrate the holidays:

    Meal Options:

    Meal Option 1: Savory Roast Turkey Dinner

    Tender, oven-roasted turkey breast slices served with creamy mashed potatoes, a rich and flavorful turkey gravy, and a classic green bean casserole topped with crispy onions and finished with a freshly baked holiday cookie for a touch of sweetness.

    Meal Option 2: Hearty Meat Lasagna Dinner

    Layers of seasoned ground beef, velvety ricotta cheese, and tangy marinara sauce nestle between perfectly cooked pasta sheets. Accompanied by a crisp garden salad with fresh greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and a side of balsamic vinaigrette, it's topped off with a delicious, freshly baked cookie for dessert.

    The Medic Now Foundation Inc. (MNF) is proud to partner with Volunteers of America Plymouth (VOAMASS), an official referral organization for MNF’s Healthcare Cost Assistance Program (HCAP). Together, we are committed to supporting members of our military community who are overwhelmed by out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.

    At the event, MNF will provide FREE on-site eligibility assessments to help attendees connect with the HCAP program. VOAMASS will assist eligible participants as an authorized referral organization, ensuring that military families, veterans, and service members can access the support they need.

    To receive your Christmas Dinner and be eligible for a free assessment from The Medic Now Foundation Inc. (MNF) Healthcare Cost Assistance Program (HCAP), you must verify your military status. If you are part of a military family, additional documentation may be required. Please bring one of the following:


    Acceptable Documents for Veterans and Service Members:

    DD Form 214: Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty.
    DD Form 256: Honorable Discharge Certificate.
    NGB Form 22: Report of Separation and Record of Service (for National Guard members).


    Military Identification Card: Common Access Card (CAC) for active duty, reserve, or National Guard members.
    Retired Military Identification Card: For retired service members.
    Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC): Issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs.


    State-Issued Driver’s License with Veteran Designation: Available in some states.
    VA Proof of Service Letter: Available through the VA eBenefits portal.

    Acceptable Documents for Military Families:

    Military Dependent ID Card (DD Form 1173): For dependents of active-duty or retired service members.
    Marriage Certificate and Spouse's Military ID: For spouses without a dependent ID.
    Birth Certificate and Parent's Military ID: For dependents under 18 without a dependent ID.
    VA Benefits Eligibility Letter: For family members receiving VA benefits.
