SCHOLARSHIPS OPEN TO CALVERT COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS
BEFORE STARTING YOUR APPLICATION:

We strongly recommend that applicants review scholarship provider eligibility requirements and gather required documentation before starting this application. 26 of 33 scholarships require essays which will need to be submitted with the application. REQUIRED:

🔲 Upload Two (2) Letters of Recommendation – Original, one each: an Academic Recommendation and a Community Recommendation

🔲 Upload SAT/ACT – Students may use a copy of the SAT/ACT official report sent with test scores or downloaded from www.collegeboard.org (there may be more than one SAT/ ACT Report))

NOTE: FAFSA Submission Summary for the 2025–2026 award year (FAFSA® Application | Federal Student Aid). Not required at submission; however, upon request by a scholarship provider, students must be prepared to submit a copy of their summary before consideration for a scholarship.

1.     For fairness and equal opportunity, the CLSA will not notify applicants of incomplete CLSA applications. Please use the required documents checklist as your guide to complete the application. Review and re-read your CLSA form before you click SUBMIT.

2.     The CLSA Manager CANNOT ACCEPT APPLICATIONS THAT DO NOT MEET THE DEADLINE, NOR ACCEPT CORRECTIONS, ADDITIONAL MATERIAL, OR CHANGES OF ANY KIND, AFTER THE MARCH 7, 2025 DEADLINE.

3.     The CLSA Manager holds all applicant information confidentially and stores all applications on a secure server. Only Scholarship Provider(s) indicated on an individual’s application are provided with the student’s CLSA application.

4.     Save required essays in the following format: Student first name, last name and scholarship provider. Save all other documents in the following format: student’s first name, last name and document type.

- Other documents: (example - jane_doe_SAT or jane_doe_transcript)
5.     Email Address: REQUIRED as all correspondence will be directed to the email address you specify on the application.

6.     Ethnicity: Indicate your primary ethnic identification. This field is REQUIRED if you are applying for an ethnicity-specific scholarship.
