What You’ll Do:

Design and teach sewing workshops (introductory to advanced techniques, including haute couture).
Collaborate with boutique owners to repair, alter, and perfect garments for their clientele.
Join our exclusive sewing team to create and innovate couture-level and ready-to-wear garments.
Offer creative solutions for garment emergencies, from button replacements to invisible zippers.
Assist in growing the Cincinnati and Dayton fashion ecosystem, sharing your expertise with local artisans, designers, and boutique owners.

In order to be considered, applicants must submit a resume and up to three portfolio samples based on your area of interest, if you want to teach, you can submit samples that best represent your expertise.

You only need to upload three images of samples that reflect your area of interest and expertise. These samples do not need to cover all categories—simply select the ones that showcase your skills and align with your focus. Sewing samples we are looking for include:

Before and after images of garment repairs you’ve completed.
A sample of a garment you’ve created from a pattern, showcasing your precision and technique.
Photos or materials from a sewing class you’ve taught, demonstrating your teaching expertise.
Images of any haute couture work you’ve done, highlighting advanced craftsmanship and detail.

Your resume should include any career and sewing experience you have. If you do not have a professional sewing-specific resume, simply upload your current work or career-based resume. It does not need to be exclusively focused on sewing, but you are welcome to incorporate your sewing experience into your basic career resume. This flexibility ensures we see the full scope of your skills and experience.
