There is a limit of 12 teams for three divisions, Youth is limited to 8 teams
NOTE: All teams will consist of 13 members: 10 paddlers, 1 drummer, 1 steers, and 1 alternate. (Steers can be provided by the race committee except for those teams which have a certified steers). ALL DIVISIONS, EXCEPT WOMEN must have a minimum of 5 female paddlers. Race Schedule/grid will not be changed to accommodate team race conflicts.
** IN THE EVENT OF A CANCELLATION BY LACDBF, LACDBF WILL REFUND REGISTRATION MINUS $50 FOR ADMINISTRATIVE FEES ***EARLY BIRD PAYMENTS ARE DUE 1 WEEK AFTER SATURDAY, JANUARY 24, 2026. PAYMENTS RECEIVED AFTER THE 1 WEEK DEADLINE WILL RESULT IN THE TEAM BEING CHARGED THE FULL RATE. ****NO REFUNDS ISSUED AFTER FEBRUARY 13, 2026.
DISCLAIMER AND LIABILITY RELEASE
I accept any and all responsibility for, and assume the risk of, any and all injury or damage to myself, my property, and/or my team while participating in the 2026 L.A. County Dragonboat Races at Marina Del Rey. Participation in the 2026 L.A. Dragonboat Races at Marina Del Rey includes any practices or any events that take place directly or indirectly as part of the Races. I hereby expressly release, discharge, and hold harmless from any liability whatsoever Paddlesport Risk Management LLC (PRM), LA County Dragon Boat Club (Team DPW), Los Angeles County Beaches and Harbor, L.A. County Dragonboat Festival Committee, any associate sponsors, and each of the above referenced entities' agents, owners, officers, volunteers, participants, employees, coaches, instructors, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on their behalf. I certify that I have read and understand the contents of this Disclaimer and Liability Release and that it is my intention, by signing this form that it is binding not only upon me but also upon my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns.
