Complete Labor & Staffing of New Haven, CT is hiring an experienced Toolmaker to join our client’s team in Waterbury, CT. This temp-to-hire position requires expertise in working with Eyelet Transfer machines, metal stamping, and presses.

Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Hourly Rate: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience

Toolmaker Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and repair tooling for Eyelet Transfer machines and metal stamping equipment.
- Set up and maintain presses to ensure efficient production and high-quality output.
- Troubleshoot and resolve tooling and machine issues as they arise.
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and machines to reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure proper tooling for specific jobs.
Toolmaker Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Toolmaker with expertise in Eyelet Transfer machines, metal stamping, and presses.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle tooling and machine parts as required.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
