In Alberta, egress windows in bedrooms, must have a minimum unobstructed opening area of 0.35square meters (3.77 square feet) with no dimension less than 380mm (15 inches). The window must be easily openable from the inside without tools and should remain open without requiring additional support. If a window is partially or fully below ground level, a window well is required, and the well should protrude at least 760mm (30inches) from the window. (Select all boxes that apply):
