  • REGISTRATION FORM FOR HIGHLAND DANCING CLASSES

    NSOHD Semester 2 - Jan 8 to Mar 5, 2024
  • IMPORTANT:

    • Classes are now held at the new Brunton Hall, located at the NEW Beckwith Township Municipal Office. The address is 2022 Beckwith Park Lane, at Beckwith Park.
    • Classes are will held on Wednesday nights, except during the second week of class which will be on Monday, Jan 13th (instead of Wed Jan 15th) due to scheduling conflicts at the hall, and no classes the week of Feb 19th. 
    • This form is for regular registration for Highland Dancing classes (all students). 
    • Only new dancers for Semester 2 must also submit:
      • the Registration Document 2 - Liability Waiver Form and Studio Rules and
      • Registration Document 3 - Photo Release Form.

    • MEDICAL & ALTERNATE EMERGENCY CONTACT

    • ALTERNATE EMERGENCY CONTACT: In case of injury or emergency, medical professionals will be contacted to transport the dancer for emergency treatment as soon as possible. We treat all emergencies immediately and we will notify a parent or guardian as soon as possible. Please indicate who should be contacted, if the parent(s) or guardian are not available.

      I understand that Registration is only considered complete once this Registration Form (a.k.a Registration Document 1) has been submitted AND:

      • Payment has been received by etransfer to NSOHD@bell.net 
      • For new Students we must also receive:
        • Registration Document 2 - Liability Waiver Form and Studio Rules has been completed and submitted;
        • Registration Document 3 - Photo Release Form has been completed and submitted.

      I hereby declare that my child(ren) is(are) physically fit to participate in dance. I understand it is my responsibility to inform thedirector or teacher(s) immediately, verbally or in writing, if there is a change in my child(ren)'s physical or mental health not disclosed on this form. In the event of injury or a change in condition, medical documentation may be requested by the director in order for a dancer(s) to return to training. As in any activity, in dance class there is some risk of injury to the participant(s). I hereby hold the [Victoria] Nichols School of Highland Dancing (NSOHD) and any persons involved in its operation and organization, harmless of all liability which might occur from my child(ren)'s participation. I agree to pay all class fees, costume fees and entry fees applicable to my child(ren) during the dance season. I understand that late charges may apply on all overdue accounts and my child(ren)'s participation may be suspended if fees are not paid when due.

    • TUITION FEES

    • All students must attend weekly classes. Semester fees are per dancer and adjusted according to the number of classes in each semester.  

      Regular class fees are: $13 per student/class, multiplied by the number of classes scheduled per semester (no applicable taxes, at this time). All fees must be paid in full prior to the beginning of each semester. Methods of payment accepted: Cash, e-transfer and credit card (a 3% admin fee will apply to any payments by credit card).

      TUITION FEES for Semster 2 - WINTER 2025:

      All classes are held on Wednesdays, except Monday Jan 13th (instead of Wed Jan 15th) and no classes the week of Feb 19th. 

      8 classes from Jan 8 to Mar 5, 2025.

      Tuition Fee for Semester 2 = $104

      No refunds or credits for students who miss classes during the semester. Any classes cancelled by the teacher due to inclement weather, or unforeseen circumstances, will be rescheduled before the end of the semester.

      If public health measures prevent in-person classes, virtual classes may be scheduled for Junior and Senior dancers. Arrangements for primary dancers will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may include rescheduling or delaying the semester.
