Your reference should be someone who knows you well or has worked with you in an organizational or supervisory capacity (e.g. teacher, coach, guidance counselor, pastor, etc.).

Recommendation Letter Guideline
Once your application, reference letters, and video are submitted, announcement of the selected students for the ELP 2025-26 school year will be informed late spring (by May 30).

Participation in ELP requires a commitment of time and energy. Candidates must be able to fulfill program requirements, including attendance at all program dates, completing learning to lead activities, and full payment of program fees. Participants are responsible for transportation to and from program activities.

The deadline for application submission is March 20, 2025.

2025-2026 Program Schedule:
Class Days will typically run from 8:30am - 3:00pm. with a few exceptions.

Orientation: August 21, 2025 (6:00 - 7:30pm)
Retreat: September 6, 2025 (8:30am - 3:00pm)
Class 1: October 4, 2025 (8:30am - 3:00pm)
Class 2: November 4, 2025 (8:30am - 3:00pm)
Class 3: January 5, 2026 (8:30am - 3:00pm)
Class 5: February 17, 2026 (8:30am - 3:00pm)
Class 6: March 16, 2026 (8:30am - 3:00pm)

Graduation: March 25, 2026 (6:00-7:30pm)

Program cost: $300 per participant upon acceptance

Submitting your application for the Emerging Leaders Program does not guarantee acceptance. There are a limited number of spots available and where you attend school is taken into consideration (a maxiumum number of students allowed in the program per school).
