2025 The Arlington Foundation for Excellence in Education

$1000 STEM Scholarship

Scholarship Guidelines:

This scholarship may be used at any two or four-year College or University (Trade, Technical and Cosmetology Schools are ineligible).

Eligibility:
- African-American college student majoring in an area of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)
- Minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Graduate of high school in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metropolitan area (2024 or earlier)
- Demonstrated leadership
- Involvement in community/ extracurricular activities
- Completed online scholarship application
- Application and all supporting materials are due by 11:58 pm CST, on Saturday, February 15, 2024.
- Scholarship award winner will be announced at the AISD Family Expo and Resource Fair on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
Application Package - before you begin the application have the following items available to upload:
- Evidence of enrollment in STEM degree program
- Copy of high school transcript or diploma
- Completed Scholarship Application with supporting documents uploaded.
- An Official College transcript
- Application and all supporting materials are due by 11:58 p.m. CST on Saturday, February 15, 2024.
***SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS WILL BE DISBURSED DIRECTLY TO THE AWARD WINNER UPON ENROLLMENT VERIFICATION***
