After School Tutorial Program

K - 5th Grade After School Tutorial Program
We are excited to offer a targeted tutorial program for students in grades K-5, based on Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) data. Students will be grouped by similar skill levels.

Scholars will attend two days per week for focused instruction in reading and math.

·        Schedule: Choose either Monday & Tuesday or Wednesday & Thursday.

·        Time: After Dismissal until 6 PM.

·        Structure: Each week scholars will focus on one subject area.

·        Purpose: We will provide intensive instruction to build foundational skills, address misconceptions, and strengthen understanding.

Attendance is Critical:

For us to be intentional about strengthening our scholars skills, scholars must be present. We know that emergencies happen, however, consistent attendance is necessary. Therefore, scholars will be dismissed from the program after two unexcused absences.

Commitment:

To ensure success, we ask that students attend every session. Please consider your family schedule when selecting what dates your scholar will attend. There are no split schedules! Your scholar should be committed to attending every Monday and Tuesday OR every Wednesday and Thursday.

A detailed calendar will be sent at a later date.

Reminder: more than two absences will result in your scholar's possible removal from the program.

Regular School Day Attendance:

On-time attendance for the regular school day (8:00AM – 2:45 PM) is equally important for continued achievement. Tutoring will happen after the 2:45 pm dismissal.
