Thank you for your interest in the RALSC Mentorship Program. This program is designed to pair experienced mentors with motivated mentees seeking guidance in their future leadership within the Association. (NAR, Florida Realtors®, and RALSC)
The RALSC Mentorship Program focuses on building leadership skills, enhancing industry knowledge through education, and promoting active involvement in professional networks and community activities. By pairing experienced mentors with motivated mentees, the program aims to:
· Provide a platform for knowledge transfer and professional leadership development.
· Encourage leadership within the real estate community. (NAR, Florida Realtors®, and RALSC)
· Foster meaningful connections and collaboration within RALSC.
· Promote active engagement and participation in RALSC events and initiatives.
Process
1. Application and Matching
o Interested mentees and mentors complete an application detailing their professional experience, areas of interest, and goals for the program.
o The RALSC Mentorship Committee reviews applications and pairs mentors with mentees based on compatibility, goals, and expertise.
2. Program Orientation
o All participants attend an initial orientation to outline program expectations, roles, and responsibilities.
o The orientation will also include guidance on effective mentoring relationships and goal setting.
3. Quarterly Meetups
o Participants are required to attend quarterly meetups. These meetups focus on:
§ Leadership Development: Workshops and discussions led by industry leaders to cultivate leadership skills and inspire innovation.
§ Involvement: Activities encouraging engagement in RALSC events, committees, and community outreach.
4. Ongoing Mentorship Activities
o Mentors and mentees are expected to meet regularly (at least once a month) to discuss their goals.
o Mentors provide guidance, share insights, and help mentees navigate their leadership journey.
5. Feedback
o Mid-year and end-of-year surveys gather feedback to evaluate and improve the program.
6. Program Conclusion and Recognition
o At the end of the program, participants attend a closing ceremony to celebrate achievements and recognize contributions.
